The challenges facing Alcohol & Drug Partnerships and their commissioning bodies in Scotland have changed dramatically with the rise of new substances and trends in use across different drug using communities, where the need for early interventions and harm reduction strategies must be balanced by recovery orientated systems.

This National Event to be held on 26th March 2012 in Perth explores how some organisations are involved in a Stepped Care Approach that balances harm reduction & recovery effectively.

Learn how successful approaches have been pioneered here in Scotland which provide an effective preventative agenda alongside treatment and recovery development.

See how this approach has been applied for issues such as the resurgence of Ecstasy to recovery support initiatives such as SMART & look at how new media have been utilised.

Crew and our partners look forward to exchanging knowledge and sharing their experiences of employing appropriate & proportionate responses, wherever someone might be with their substance use.
