Expert Witness Pricing

Crew’s Expert Witness team charges an hourly rate for report writing and court attendance.  Crew have an upper limit of hours chargeable in line with the Crown Office and Scottish Legal Aid Board guidelines of £328. Most of the cases we undertake take 6 or more than hours, therefore we require a sanction to cover this amount before proceeding.

REPORT WRITING £82 first hour (up to £328)

COURT ATTENDANCE £82 first hour (up to £328 for a full day)

TRAVEL AT COST (by public transport wherever feasible) or BY CAR at 45p per mile

OVERNIGHT STAY, REASONABLE ACCOMMODATION AT COST PLUS £40 PER DIEM
