Completely current update on new and emerging trends with New Psychoactive Substances, often referred to as legal highs or research chemicals. With over 40 new substances identified last year, what are we experiencing in 2011? The in-depth training will feature the chemical composition, using patterns, effects and side effects of the substances and harm reduction techniques. This course will allow youth workers, drug workers and other professionals to effectively respond to, treat and engage with people using these emerging substances.
